We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. At first we were put off by the street/area but the hotel was welcoming and cosy. We were family of 4 and the room was perfect for us. Spacious, clean and had two toilets. The breakfast was OK but very crowded, maybe because it was during the Christmas period. The restaurant downstairs is top class! Expensive for the small portions but worth trying. We had good drinks at the bar as well. Overall very pleasant 👍🏻

Room normal and of typical size. Tolerant, not welcoming, for international travelers. The "secure" parking lot was full upon arrival, poor instructions given about where to park to avoid tickets or vandalism. EVERY morning my spouse was asked for proof of stay when going for a morning coffee. For any U.S. travelers, it is common for some hotels in Europe to charge per person occupancy on a room. This may be surprising to some guests from the U.S. (50 euro per person) On-site restaurant (for evening dining) was spartan. Area is industrial. Businesses (including restaurants) close early. However, there is an area nearby that hosts loud and intoxicated students that pass by the hotel. (late and VERY LOUD) If your stay is in the warmer months, and you elect to have open windows to offset the VERY stuffy rooms, this can be disruptive. Spa and pool area is nice. Quite particular about hours of operation (midday) for the spa area. (also no swimsuit allowed in the spa area.) This hotel provided a sufficient stay. However, I think there are other options that I would pursue ahead of this establishment. Average.

The experience started off pleasantly. I arrived at night after my long drive through Italy and was warmly and professionally welcomed by the night-shift front-desk staffer. She was extremely knowledgeable and processed me to my room quickly. However, issues started the next morning with the hotel’s new morning crew. I approached the front desk with an inquiry on where I could heat up some dinner leftovers as a snack. I was initially ignored by the four people behind the counter who did not acknowledge me, despite having no one in line. After speaking up and waving to draw attention, one of the front-desk staff curtly told me that I should go to the bar or the breakfast restaurant and they could “chose to help me if they wanted.” I went to the bar and was completely ignored while trying to flag down the lady at the bar. I was completely taken aback by the morning crew experience. It was a first at any hotel I’ve stayed in. In addition to being unprofessional, the morning incidents were quite rude. The hotel is located in an industrial area adjacent to some kind of conference hall. I chose to pay for parking in the hotel instead of parking for free on the street due to past reviews of car break-ins. There were a group of teenagers shooting off aerial fireworks just for the hell of it in the adjacent lot on the night I stayed.
