What a stay! Everything was perfect, from the level of service, through the quality of the rooms and facilities, to the location and atmosphere. We went with our three young children, and everyone had a great time. The staff is very child friendly and accommodating, and we never felt uncomfortable for the noise or mess we were making. The food was fantastic, and the themed dinners were exceptional - especially the buffet on the beach. The setting of the resort is also amazing. The gardening and natural topography are beautiful, and the beach is very private and pristine. Bottom line - would recommend this place hands down.

Disappointed at the quality of the food served for breakfast. Not much healthy options, they said chicken was fresh, it wasn’t edible to me when I tried it.. small items are okay but I do expect more from four seasons.. especially on the healthy nutrition food options.. Plus the raw fish didint look enticing I dunno why.. Would be nice to work on more on conscious healthy diet options.. Of course though over all amazing hospitality with attention to details.. amazing service as well.. O didn’t stay in the rooms just went for breakfast one day.. also didn’t feel initially very welcoming for outside visitors..then warmed and opened up still though

Heavenly experience from check-in to check-out. I booked through Amex Platinum’s Fine Hotels & Resorts program which gave me early check-in, late check-out (the hotel was kind enough to let me check out even later, just before my evening flight to the ariport), free breakfasts (which were fantastic), $100 resort credit, and a room upgrade to a Premier Ocean-View Pool Villa. The villa was mind-blowing—extremely private, beautifully appointed, incredibly spacious, and with an enormous outdoor space and infinity pool. The villa felt like it was set within the jungle but also had an expansive ocean view. Getting around the large property was easy thanks to the on-call golf carts, which were readily available, though I highly recommend walking the paths as well. Again, you will feel like you are in a jungle. I reviewed the restaurants separately, but all were sublime: Pla Pla for lunch and dinner, KOH Thai Kitchen for breakfast and dinner. Also, the Fisherman’s Night barbeque/buffet was exceptional. When I finally dragged myself away from the private villa pool, the main pool and beach did not disappoint. Soft, white sand on the beach, very comfortable lounge chairs and cabana beds, huge pool (which was immaculately clean, as were the pool restrooms). There are also a number of activities available at the beach. I snorkeled in the resort’s own reef, which had an impressive variety of fish and coral. The spa (and all facilities) were stunning. I am not generally one for massages but went out on a limb and booked the traditional Thai massage at the spa. It may have turned me into a massage enthusiast, and I am still feeling the benefits. Lastly, the staff was the friendliest, most welcoming and helpful I have ever had the pleasure of meeting (I should note that the Four Seasons Chiang Mai was equally outstanding). I wish I had written down all of the names so that I could give them their much-deserved individual thanks. Also, make sure you speak with Branka, the food and beverage manager. She is the epitome of positive energy, was an absolute delight to get to know, and gave stellar advice for dining (including off-grounds) and other activites. She, and the rest of the staff, are truly an asset to the Four Seasons, and I can’t thank them enough. Long story short, I am already thinking about planning a return visit.

Staff at Four Seasons are exceptional. We had a long journey to Koh Samui due to storms during the rainy season - two diverted flights meant it took us three flights from Chiang Mai to get here. Four Seasons staff were more than accommodating with the frequently changing flight itinerary and met us at the airport. The resort is beautiful. About 30mins from the airport and extremely secluded - once you’re through the front gates you’re in another world. All the villas are roughly the same, just a differing level of privacy and proximity to the beach. We did have some unfortunate friction due to the heavy rain on our first day, but the team went above and beyond to make it right. Special thank you to Jasjit, Hannes and Ralph for their genuine desire to deliver on the Four Seasons experience. Led by Branka, the F&B at this resort is among the best we’ve experienced anywhere in Asia. The breakfast buffet was flawless and comes with a breathtaking view. Two staff in particular - Supa and Visa - went out of their way every single morning and evening to make our dining experiences memorable. Also we’d recommend the Tam Rab Thai buffet of local cuisine that is run once a week for dinner. The food and entertainment were terrific. The CoCoRum Bar and adjacent Rum Vault are impressive. The staff are extremely attentive and enthusiastic when you visit the beach and welcome you with a cold beverage. We were fortunate to take two tours organised by Four Seasons. One was of the resort itself and the manicured gardens, hosted by Chief Gardener Thada. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the impressive vegetation as well as the conservation efforts that the resort undertakes. The second was a tailored tour around the island led by Jas who was very friendly, down to earth and flexible. We visited the resort spa for a couples massage and it was one of the best we’ve had. No better way to unwind and get into the holiday spirit. Even the buggy drivers were incredibly energetic and warm every single time they helped us get around the expansive property. Four Seasons truly is a must visit when staying in Koh Samui.
