If it wasn’t for those that work at the front desk this would get negative stars. Raymond & his colleagues are amazing & that is the type of customer service you should provide. As far as the room, it could use plenty of updating & better cleaning. Very old looking & very small. I had to switch rooms because the first one was not cleaned properly & stains were all on the sheet. There are a bunch of tiny bugs that crawl all through the room & they are aware stating it may be because of rainy season. On top of that my flight was delayed by a day due to the weather where I was coming from. They refused to refund me for 1 night even though the change of plans was out of my control & I still stayed for the rest of my stay! Regardless of policy they have the ability to make exceptions & this should have been one of them. I had no control over my flight change. Refunding me would have helped me a whole lot more than it would have hurt them. I would never recommend this hotel nor stay here again. Poor service coming from the backend but thank you to those on the frontlines dealing with all of the drama the company does not handle properly.

Pros: - The hotel itself is considerably well-managed, as it's a 2-star hotel - it's in fact, one of the best 2-star hotels I've been to, so far. - The staffs were particularly friendly and helpful, they know their routes around the vicinity nearby. There are about 4 staffs and they switch shifts from time-to-time; 2 of the staffs speak very fluent English and Mandarin. - The rooms are unexpectedly clean and compact with everything included. Hairdryer, daily essentials (coffee/tea, creamer, etc), complimentary water bottles (2) and towels/toiletries are all there. Cons: - Parking isn't convenient as there are no 24/7 areas to park at. There's a very narrow and somewhat secluded alley road in-between a temple (left side) and the hotel's only entrance (right side of said alley), that alley has a maximum number of 7 vehicle slots. - You may temporarily park there for no more than 15 minutes if you wish to do so. - If you wish to take Grab/Taxi rides, be prepared to always be on the other side of the street, otherwise your driver won't be able to stop nearby. There's only one valid drop-off point for them way farther down the street. Summary/TL;DR: Was it worth it? Did it live up to expectations for 3 days? Was the parking area quite difficult to understand? That's a 'yes' for all of the above mentioned.

Before this i never think of staying in Fragrance hotel.. but Fragrance Hotel Classic break all of my bad thinking about Fragrance hotel. The room is small yes but it is very clean.. super clean!!! The aircon and the water heater are working well. They also provide 2 water bootle everyday. Location are amazing sorrounding with food. The minus is only there are no hangers in the bathroom.. we have difficult when we have to shower, because our clothes can get wet and there are no partition from shower room to toilet. But for sure i will come back again to stay in Fragrance hotel classic and i want to try another Fragrance hotel. And i hope they standard is good as Classic even better
