We had a Christmas gathering at the Frederick Stearns House. Wow. This place is absolutely amazing. The pictures are great but it is SO much better in person! Great service from the owners and the house is absolutely gorgeous. It’s decorated with such thought. It’s SO clean! The rooms are enormous and beautiful. This would be an amazing location for a wedding. Thank you for taking such good care of us for our party. Can not recommend Frederick Stearns House enough and can’t wait to return!!

We had a wonderful evening at the Frederick Stearns house for a holiday dinner event. It easily accommodated our group of ~50 people and we were impressed with how cozy it felt despite the spaciousness of the house. There were several rooms that people could move between - a living room with comfortable seating and large fireplace, a ballroom where people could sing/dance and play piano, a basement speakeasy, a formal dining room, and multiple parlor areas with large windows and abundant natural light. The building was beautifully restored and had all of the character and charm that one could hope for in a historic Detroit home. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
