This hotel is situated right in the action, but is so peaceful and calm inside the resort. Yes I am that person who grateful to have a distinct kids zone and adults only zone, and this resort has exactly that in a very discreet way. The rooms have the traditional wooden feel, and ours was super clean throughout the whole stay. Not one single bug in the room - how do they do that? The private beach is small but beautiful, and more than enough for all the guests to enjoy. There is even a sunset rooftop bar to enjoy the sundown, if you don’t fancy watching from the beach. The staff were amazing. Super friendly, professional and helpful. The location of the resort is perfect. So many fantastic restaurants are within walking distance and the evening has a nice buzz. Would highly recommend this place for couples looking for some peace, but also families that want to relax.

An Amazing Stay with Mesmerizing Sunsets! We had an incredible week at GajaPuri Resort & Spa in Koh Chang. Booking the seaside bungalow offered breathtaking views and a perfectly maintained space. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast by the pool was delicious. The garden provided an incredible spot to witness unbelievable sunsets. The only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the plastic shower cabins; however, overall, it's a solid 10/10 experience!

A very nice hotel with good service. Two swimming pools. The beach is not big but clean. You can enjoy the sunset every day. The breakfast is not rich but delicious. Their restaurant is a bit expensive but there a lot of good restaurant outside nearby. A year later, returning to this place, I was delighted to find a series of improvements. The breakfast area has been relocated to the poolside, which is more spacious and offers beautiful scenery. The breakfast selection has also become much more diverse, and I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious French dish "Ratatouille" and amazing Thai Pineapple rice with seafood here. The only regret is that the previously offered rice porridge and vegetable soup are no longer available. Another improvement is the Saturday buffet event, which is reasonably priced, offers good dishes, and includes a captivating beachside fireworks show. The service remains as satisfying as ever, with the staff always going out of their way to meet various guest requests and wearing smiles throughout. The Resort also organizes some other interesting activities. Despite the decline in business at nearby resorts, GajaPuri has all its rooms fully booked. If you do a little research, you'll discover that it is the best resort in this area, and I believe it lives up to that reputation completely.

Pro’s: location, location, location, smack bang in the middle of Kai Bae, but the moment you walk into the resort, the quietness starts to surround you. The setup is really cool with wooden walkways and lots of greenery, right near the sea with a small beach. The pools are amazing, there’s free supboards and canoes, the staff are all very friendly. The downside is that the prices don’t really match current state. Mostly; that when you’re not staying in a beachbungalow, you’re in a (family-) room that is fenced and has a tiled terrace. Zero atmosphere and zero view. If you’re to far in the back and near the road, you’ll be involuntarily listening to the music of choice of the neighbors. Your experience here depends heavily on the position of your room of choice at a heavy price. Also, I feel that maintenance has been postponed a bit too long: the floorboarding of the walkways has been haphazardly fixed with screws that are drilled in quite randomly- if you don’t watch out you could hurt your feet. In the bathroom there’s quite a bit of wear and tear and it doesn’t make the cleanest impression. (Toothpaste marks on the area around the sink) All in all, it’s still a great place to stay, but I think you’d be able to get all the pro’s at a more reasonable price somewhere in the vincinity. The neighboring resort is rebuilding as we speak.
