I will start by saying the staff is incredible. My family got in early from over 24 hours of travel and they got us checked into a room way earlier than they were obligated to, and that made a huge difference in our day. I am deeply grateful to the staff for their help. Having said that, dear god the rooms are dilapidated. There's no wifi that reached our room, and for the price per room the condition of the accommodations makes no sense. I've stayed in hostels that were significantly better. I would absolutely not stay here again.

Central location which makes it very close to major tourist attractions such as Duomo or the city center. But sad to say it is a very old fashion hotel where the rooms and interiors were renovated most probably a few decades ago. Looks lika a 70's Hotel more than anything. Overall the Gallileo Hotel it was clean - the room was cleaned daily. This is why one can consider the staff very friendly and helpful. The food selection for the breakfast is limited though the experience of ordering from the personnel was like never met before. Everything comes on a small plate! Even here the staff is kind and always ready to assist you. But the experience with the furniture older than probably 40 years, the smell of old and the noises that can be heard from all nearby rooms, was a bit annoying during the night. Price was good for the 9 nights stay, but one can opt for other variants easily.

We are so deceived with this hotel: we paid for a booking before the pandemic (as we were meant to visit Milan at the beginning of December) when we were all locked down. We were told we had the right to be refunded so, we have been writing emails for years. First, the answer was: "the hotel is closed, we'll refund the money when it's open". After that, the hotel open, all the answers we got after several mails: we'll resend your email to administration... Up to today, every time we claim, same answer: "we can't do anything about it, we'll resend your mail to administration"... And here we are: no money and no travel...

Location is in walking distance to the center of Milano. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and convenient. In the evening there is a small bar to get cocktails; bartender was friendly. First front desk was amazing; our luggage was lost. They called the lost luggage number for us to help get luggage delivered to our next destination; they gave us advice on where to buy some extra clothes; gave us good restaurant recommendations and called a taxi for us. we would strongly recommend Hotel Galileo to anyone who wants to spend time in Milano.
