Major construction works on the apartment building began during our stay at Garisenda Lodge, and we were not forewarned (if we had been forewarned we would have simply booked somewhere else). Metallic scaffolding was installed on the facade of the building, making an incredible amount of noise from 7:30am to 4:30pm. The workers were right outside our windows at some point. Apparently an alarm was supposed to be installed that would detect if people tried to climb the scaffolding after working hours, but frankly we didn't feel very safe. The construction works are extensive (complete makeover of the building facade), so I expect that they will continue for several weeks (we visited in the first week of September 2021). Something to keep in mind if you plan to stay at Garisenda Lodge this fall!

Cozy and characteristic apartment, excellent air conditioning (and heating I imagine considering the insulation and radiators), competitive price, equipped with everything you might need. The only drawback is accessibility due to the presence of stairs both at the entrance and inside the apartment but if you don't have this problem you get a bargain because it is in a very central position. Everything there is to see can be reached on foot, the station is 15 minutes away and the area is well stocked with supermarkets, restaurants and clubs. Thanks to the brewery on the ground floor, you are sure of being able to return late at night without finding the alley deserted.

I slept in this place, in fact I didn't sleep during the Cersaie. Let me explain: downstairs there is a brewery whose patrons make a hell of a racket until 3 in the morning and don't allow guests to sleep. Out of desperation I went down to brewery and I discovered by talking to a waiter of the place that the ownership of the B&B and the brewery premises is the same. At this point I asked for and received a refund for the sleepless night I spent. DON'T GO THERE, REAL HELL.
