Gemelli Hotel

Great hotel, spacious and clean room with balcony ,great service and comes with breakfast. Managed to snapped this room last minute with greal deal.

Very bad hotel. Even if I paid in advance the bed hadn't been changed, it was full of hair from the previous guest. When I complained at the reception, the receptionist told me that probably are from the housekeeper. Well I am losing my hair too like everybody but if I change the sheets I don't leave like 8 or 10.hairs on one side of the bed. And the receptionist was like we solve it in the morning like I was supposed to sleep in those sheets with some else's hairs because the housekeeper was gone for the day . After I insisted he brought some clean sheets and I changed the bed because he said he does not know how. Next day somebody else from reception, I think he was the supervisor, told me their washing machine was broked. So they could not even get their stories straight. Next the shower is for kids and supermodels forget about getting a good shower. If you are a little claustrofobic then you are really in trouble and is very difficult to take a shower in that cabin.Since it is a hotel near a hospital where people going to the hospital check in usually, this is not ok. The breakfast was a joke. A couple of sweet croissants and a cake, a few fruits, butter and cream cheese but no bread and if I went later no fruits left. Coffe and juices couldn't be drank at all this is how bad they were. Just one sip would make me sick. And I am not picky usually when I go somewhere I find something I like to drink and eat. Here I usually ate something sweet just to put something in my belly. And I would go later and eat someplace else. Avoid this hotel at all costs. I guess they clean only for Italians. If you come from another country like Romania like me they don't bother they just take your money at a high price as well. Shame. I like Italy and Rome especially very much. But this is not my first bad experience at a hotel in Italy. Well right now I prefer to spend at least 2 hours commuting to that area every day than to chose Hotel Gemelli again. And yes I do come often there.
