Nice rooms, large and comfy. Setback is that I got there at 10pm to find the comforter in the bed to be dirty. They did not have anyone available to change it at that time - they offered me another comforter missing the cover (which is even worse) and said I’d have to wait for the next day to get the problem fixed. Not good enough.

George V Alto Pinheiros is very well priced for quality. These are small suites that are similar to a Marriott Residence Inn or similar residence hotel in the US. The rooms are designed to not offend and therefore are beige bland but soothing and comfortable. There are small kitchens, a small living room with attached bedroom area, a spacious walk through closet and a relatively large bathroom with both a shower and a Jacuzzi tub. They provide excellent service at reception and a they put out a very good breakfast spread with scrambled eggs, meat and cheeses, traditional Brazilian pastries, fruit, etc. There is a gym area with several machines and a small unheated pool and a guest laundry room. The hotel is close to one EXCEPTIONAL Italian restaurant PIU. If you stay here do not miss the opportunity of eating there.
