This hotel has a lot of potential - best location, nice building and all the history and cultural heritage, but no one seems to care about it and it is really a shame. The staff at the reception is awful - super rude and unprofessional. The checkin felt like a hearing at the police station - we felt more like intruders than guests. Later on, trying to solve any problems with them was impossible. For example the toilet flushes in the room, in the lobby and a bar weren't working. Everything was dirty, the table cloths in the restaurant seemed like they weren't washed for 5 years. With a change of staff and a little care it would be a great hotel.

Do you want a quiet and peaceful place in the middle of noisy and busy city, I recommend you to visit Ghion Hotel. Do not worry about parking, there are enough parking lots. You enjoy the fresh air coming from the trees and gardens of the compound. You can get good rooms at your means. The service is standard. Though it is dated and needs few work ups, it is quite interesting for people who loves what is classical.

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel, which is 5 day staying. Ghion is a nice hotel with excellent food and service. They offer complementary fruit, chocolates and coffee in the room. Breakfast is good and you can choose: ethiopian, continental, etc. Also the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed or weekend getaway a lot. I will definitely stay there again.
