booked a half day and I have to recommend trying their private, open air onsen. 40 minutes of uninterrupted relaxation with a nature view and both gold and silver baths

hotel policy requires passport copy for day trip onsen i.e. from 11am to 3pm visit their inhouse onsen and lunch at their inhouse restaurant. This is the only onsen hotel (we visited three other nearby onsen hotels this week) requires passport for day trip onsen

I stayed here for 1 night in October 2022 and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel was traditional ‘ryokan’ (Japanese style hotel) and everything is being taken care beautifully. The guest room I stayed was newly renovated and the view from my room was amazing. I did not have a private hot spring in my room but still managed to rent one for 45 minutes. We enjoyed a lot! Dinner and breakfast are good as well as the food is in season and was served decently.

This is the most unreasonable hotel I have ever known. I booked a room this hotel through Agoda costing JPY5xxxx. The booking was confirmed. When my trip is approaching, this hotel suddenly told me they listed the hotel room with wrong price and the original price should be JPY190000. They only gave me the options to cancel the room or reserve the room for me unless I pay the “original price” JPY190000. It took me days to clarify with hotel and Agoda and finding a replacement. This hotel has ZERO integrity and can charge you additional cost even after you confirmed the booking (more than triple of the price u paid)
