The staff are really kind, friendly and are willing to go the extra mile, if you need any help. Rooms are decent. There’s a Lidl and a subway super close by that closes at 11 so your good for food.

Being advertised as a 2 star budget I didn't have high hopes as was needed for 1 overnight stay. BUT to my surprise the whole experience was far from budget, I'd messed up a booking and it was rectified promptly and hassle free. Having 24hour reception meant we could check in late (visiting family over xmas), the reception was bright, modern & clean as was the room. Our heater had a problem and we were moved instantly without issue. Very clean rooms,bathrooms spotless and provision of hand wash and shower wash which seems to be disappearing in many hotels nowadays. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Will book again when next visiting family x

Great budget hotel right by the marina. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, quiet hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. So much within walking distance. We had a really lovely weekend here.

I paid over the odds for this and found it to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Cheap at every opportunity. My sister stayed here on the same night as me and paid significantly less. My issues with it: Breakfast in a paper bag. Only 2 tea bags in the room. Tears in the carpet. An awful view of the car park. Tiny room. The only time in years I've had to put up with a shower curtain. Above a Lidl. I stayed a couple of weeks ago in the Premier Inn, Portishead, and it was much better and cheaper.

Service friendly and efficient. The rooms need some work. I have stayed in other Ibis Budgets and they were surprisingly good, hence booking here. The room smelled stuffy and sweaty. I think it was the carpet as the room looked clean. The curtains let in a lot of light. No air con so quite warm at night though they do provide a fan. The mattress we slept on needs replacing.
