Rooms smell mouldy with stains on floor and walls. Mould around the windows. Water bottle in room was already opened. Pool and “spa” dirty and barely maintained. Toilets in pool area haven’t been cleaned in two days. Personnel rather unfriendly. Gym dirty, too with water dripping from the ceiling. Would not have stayed more than one night. Don’t go there!

Very nice place and in the past it must have been nice hotel for long stay. Spa still looks good and it is fair clean. Unfortunately it is yet old and not recently renovated. But the biggest disappointment is... a breakfast. Hotel has 4☆ but choice of breakfast is like a low quality 3☆ :( It is outside of Braga, so you won't be able to walk for a glass of wine nor is anything around (beside "recommend" hotel restaurant)

Beautiful place, but in dire need of maintenance and modernising. Everything about the hotel felt old and run down. The staff, while nice, is clearly insufficient for a place this size. The rooms in particular are outdated and very spartan. Photos of the hotel online really do deceive the eye in this case...

Lovely service and facilities, however the lady at reception was not helpful when asking restaurant recommendations with vegetarian options. We asked if there was any italian restaurants in the centre and she answered no. We went to explore the restaurant scene and found that there were at least pizza places and a pasta place on one short street. Knowledge of local restaurants should be a staple in hotels.
