We spent two nights at the “more than” Goodenough Guest House. Andy, the host, was very kind and served us robust English breakfasts each morning. We stayed in the loft room which was perfect for my son and me, visiting family just down the road where there was a full house. I loved the large bathtub. At 6’4” (193 cm) I appreciated the large soaking tub in the bath, where there was also a shower. One should know, no lift and no air conditioning. Didn’t bother us. We were lucky with weather and the air was cool at the end of July and the neighborhood quiet, so we could have the windows opened. The beds were comfortable, and a nice sofa to have a cup of tea, play a card game and relax. Short walk to the train. Totally clean! We loved it and will return!

We stayed two nights at Goodenough Guesthouse. After a very pleasant welcome, we moved into the clean „loft room“. Equipped with one double, and one single bed, a minifridge and more, we spent two enjoyable days. The bathroom was spacious and also clean. The shower got a bit long in the tooth but was goodenough. After a long night out we got breakfast whenever we wanted to. It was typically British, freshly prepared and very delicious. If you search for a cheaper alternative to hotels, the Goodenough Guesthouse Hotel by Kate and Andy is the way to go!

Wonderfully British! Lovely host and great English breakfast! We are already very much enjoying our stay at the loft room! The area is nice and calm and has a multitude of different great restaurants to chose from!
