This hotel is so cool. Very unique. We loved that it was on Roosevelt Island. Just far enough away from the city but not too far. An easy tram ride over. But the hotel has a very different approach and feel to it than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. So fun! The staff is top notch!! Great restaurant and rooftop bar with amazing views of the city.

We recently stayed at the Graduate New York hotel based on a friend's recommendation, with the expectation of enjoying a wonderful view of the city. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Pros: • Early Check-In: We appreciated the hotel's flexibility in allowing us to check in earlier than the scheduled time, given they had a spare room available. Cons: • Room View: Despite choosing this hotel for its promised breathtaking view, our room had a disappointing window view that barely showcased anything of significance. • Cleanliness Issues: The state of the room left much to be desired. The room desk was dusty, and there were only traces of toilet paper, an oversight that seems quite ridiculous. Additionally, the shower experience was compromised as shower gels and shampoos were almost empty, making it challenging to use. The shower opener was also difficult to turn, adding to the inconvenience. • Closed Rooftop Bar: One of the main attractions that drew us to this hotel was the rooftop bar with its promised spectacular view. However, to our dismay, the bar was closed during our stay, and we were not given access. This was a major letdown. • Transportation Issues: The shuttle tube service, which we were relying on for convenient transportation, did not operate smoothly. On a Sunday, it skipped some stations, making our travel more complicated If you are looking for a hotel with a fantastic view and reliable amenities, I would advise exploring other options.

This hotel was a blessing during Avery challenging time! The staff is amazing and they made the stay so welcoming! I highly recommend the visit. So easy to get to the city from the island using the fun Tram!

This is the best possible hotel to stay in NYC. Close to Brooklyn, even closer to Manhattan. It has a great view of both sides of the city and of the Ed Koch bridge. But the best thing is, that even though you're right in the city, you don't have the thousands of people everywhere, it's 10 times quieter than Manhattan. Get a room as high as possible, the view is awesome.
