Rooms are very clean and nice. It's a bit small but definitely within accepted, common European standards. Very near to historical places; 18 minutes to Galileo Museum, 15 minutes to the Duomo, for example. The greatest asset: STAFF! THEY'RE EXCELLENT! The manager of the hotel personally assisted us in adding one person to our group (family) despite the fact that the hotel was absolutely full. Carlo, the front desk gentleman, is absolutely a helping, dedicated, kind assistant. With genuine intention of helping and facilitating our stay and the kind smile, he is the prototype of employees who are a great asset to a hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Awesome location near the heart of Italy. Everything was in walking distance, the staff were all helpful and friendly - from front desk, breakfast staff and cleaners. The bed was one of the best we’ve had travelling (we like a medium-hard bed) and the amenities were simple, but perfect for our needs. We travelled with two children and they loved the hotel and everyone there. Breakfast was a treat. Mix of hot and cold in a more traditional style.

For sure one of the best hotels I've stayed at in many travels. Very well kept building, beautiful reception. The staff is as friendly as it gets, breakfast is good and included in room rate (at least for us). Our room was very clean and fresh. It was on the smaller side but big enough to be functional. Bathroom has a tub only with ugly, leaking water shield. Location is pretty good as well, we chose for distance from station.

Do not stay at this hotel!!!! This is not a 4 star hotel at all! Max 2 star hotel, it was likely a 4 star back in 2016 but not today. The hotel is very dated and the room have a old funky room smell. We had a leaky toilet with brown stains and no one fixed it. We called maintenance 3 times and all he did was come in flush hard and leave. There are water stains on the ceilings, this hotel has a lot of maintenance issues but no one cares. The bathrooms are very gross and dated with stains and mold around the tub. The street also seems sketch, there are homeless people outside. Of all the hotels we stayed at in Europe this is the worst experience we had. If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. I will never be booking at this hotel ever again, they need to do a hotel renovation asap.
