Very nice hotel in the center. Our room was very nice and we had a great view of the castle. Breakfast was also good only stuff was slow at preparing table for new guests. The reception staff were very gentle and helpful. Costs for parking garage is relatively high. We paid almost 20 euros per day.

very clean & tidy only problem we had was that we didn't sleep very well because of generator noise all night but the receptionist did upgrade us to another room so certainly very helpful and room lovely. a bit of a disappointment on the Friday night as tha restaurant menu was awful only food on offer were a choice of 4 burgers or a chicken caesar salad, and a sweet were only cakes , certainly something wrong there which needs looking at,

Absolutely great hotel, directly in the city center. Our Suite were huge, very comfortable and very clean! The staff is more than friendly, the breakfast fresh and changeable. The dinner is also of a great quality. Guest requests are treated with the highest priority. We felt comfortable all around. Many thanks to the complete staff! We are definitely coming back.

I believe that Grand Hotel Union is the best hotel in Ljubljana, the location can't be better which just within walking distance to city centre, bus and train station. We used the swimming pool in the hotel and found it is relaxed. Breakfast is also great with varied option. one advise, don't take the taxi in front of the hotel and train station, it is a rip off, they charge me 10 euros for less than 5 mins ride.

Perfectly located to see all of old town. Steps for the three bridges. Easy walking distance to markets, the river, restaurants and shops. Nice and formal entrance with a welcoming check in. The rooms are large and clean with beautiful glass windows. Comfortable bed with fluffy comforters. The bathroom is nice and large. Great shower and nice toiletries. Comb, toothbrush, vanity set. The breakfast was large with warm and cold options. Great selection with local options too. The pool and spa was also really nice.
