It was one of the worst accommodation experiences I ever had – even though the rooms cost more than 200 euros per night. The area, just in front of a huge train station (Saint-Lazare), is hectic, and the street where the hotel is located has a few shady bars with a bunch of shady men lined up along the street. It didn´t feel safe to walk there alone at night as a woman. Besides that, the hotel has no air conditioning. So it was hell to be there in early September when it was 30C (86F). It was not even possible to refresh with a cold drink because there was no minibar in the room, and the bar/restaurant of the hotel was closed during my entire stay. Regarding cleanness, the towels and bed sheets were clean and fresh, but the carpet was grimy. The only good part was the breakfast. As the restaurant of Du Calvados was closed, the meal was being offered from a hotel just by the side of this one. And that was great. I regret I haven´t stayed at Hôtel Opéra Dieppe.

Small rooms but very convenient location, being only a minute's walk away from the Saint-Lazare metro station. The staff were also quite friendly. However, the water temperature of the shower was a bit fickle. Breakfast (buffet) was served next door, where you could ask for a couple different ways to have eggs served. Unfortunately, we had a bit of a mosquito problem in our room (I counted at least 5), but I'd imagine the other rooms were fine.

Do not book this place. Uncomfortably small rooms that lacked basic necessities. Surprisingly, there was no mini-fridge, and the absence of a working kitchen meant no access to even a glass of water. Ridiculously , the room's electrical outlets were linked to the main light, forcing guests to keep the main light on to charge their devices at night. To add to it, the level of dust on the walls and surfaces were shocking. The bathrooms and showers were cramped, and the absence of a fan made them uncomfortable. No AC, and the provided toiletries were far from adequate. The hallway lights on a timer led to pitch darkness upon exiting the room until the switch was found. You simply can’t rest in this place. The constant noise from surrounding and all nights delivery trucks are appalling. Plus the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke insides rooms. The hotel's policy of providing only one keycard and requiring it to be left at the reception when going out was baffling. Even for a hotel in its class,it falls significantly below the average. Stay as far as you can from this place.

Overpriced hotel for the quality it offers. It is conveniently located near Saint Lazare train station - that is why I selected it as I had to take a morning train. But I am not that happy as it was expensive, with small bathroom you can barely fit (in general pretty small room) and not the most comfortable bed. Cleaning was okay. The only good was the staff that was welcoming. Don't really recommend it.
