Location is just minutes away from the ferry terminal. And the beach is within walking distance where kids can go build their sand castle and walk back to the hotel room to. change or shower if they need. Service Is good as the receptionist can speak English thus no language barrier. However the room sound proofing is bad as you can hear kids running and shouting outside along the corridor and lift lobby from the room even before 7am and disturbing my sleep.

Great service, very friendly staff. Very bike-friendly. Hotel even has hybrid and tandem bikes for guests’ use. Contacted hotel for a special birthday celebration, and they pulled it off very smoothly and discreetly . Room is very clean, with a balcony on the terrace. Rooftop bar has great food. Breakfast buffet has a good spread. There is a recreation room and spa within hotel grounds. A walk away from the Plaza Lagoi (which comes alive only on weekends). We went on a five-day cycling trip, and get ice buckets sent to our room each time we return to the hotel! The one place where you can have a great sunrise and sunset view!

Booked a stay here with family (which includes a toddler). Service was exceptional throughout our stay, plus great view from our room. Eateries and marts were within walking distance. Shopping centre just across the hotel, but none of the stores were open. Unsure if it was because we were there only on weekdays or if they were permanently closed. Rooftop swimming pool, kids' indoor playground, musollah, and entertainment room available in the hotel for use, though they could be maintained better. Good variety of breakfast spread. Only qualm was that we once ordered in-room dining, and the food we ordered reeked of overused rag. Seemed to be emanating from the tray lid. Overall great for a quiet getaway, and I'm utterly grateful to each Grand Lagoi staff for the wonderfully memorable experience. Will recommended this hotel to others.

Great hotel with generally clean and comfortable rooms. Relatively good view of a nice lake from the balcony as well. Hotel also have amenities such as a rooftop bar, gym and discounted massage place. Service was good too in general. There is a beach and plaza right nearby which has good food and more massage options. Only downside is that the location is a little remote from other parts of the Bintan tourist areas. The shuttle bus goes solely to the ferry terminal, everywhere else requires taxi booking in which the hotel readily assist.
