Located right beside the ticket entrance to the Petra national park, and across the street from the Petra Museum. My room was comfortable though it didn’t have an open view. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a wide range of appealing dishes. The hotel doesn’t provide bar soap, so I had to buy a bar from a shop in the hotel, at a fairly exorbitant price. For a visit to Petra, this would be your best choice.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the hospitality was nothing short of regal. Nestled conveniently at the entrance to the lost city of Petra, this hotel is a gem for travelers seeking a comfortable base for their explorations. Our visit was marked by a lunch experience that left us in awe. Each dish was a testament to culinary mastery, tantalizing our taste buds to the point of wanting more despite being comfortably full. The desserts were not just food, but works of art - both visually stunning and delectably satisfying. In summary, this hotel is a perfect blend of ideal location, exceptional service, and culinary excellence. It's a haven for food lovers and a comfortable retreat for adventurers. Spacious clean rooms in a fantastic location on the doorstep to enter Petra. Complimentary chocolate hour 4-5 and happy hour 4-6. Unfortunately the gym was closed for our visit but pool open. The breakfast was decent and the same restaurant does a buffet dinner which is pretty good. We did try and book their fine dining restaurant but was told it was closed for both nights although we saw people eating in there the second night! Service was mixed with some very helpful staff but others less so. One staff told us to go to the ticket office to get Petra by Night tickets whilst another said he will have someone go over to get our tickets for us.

We loved the hotel overall. Friendly staff. Nice room. Upgraded to a suite. Great location at the entrance to Petra. Good service. However, on one of the days we came back to the room to take a nap and there was EXTREMELY LOUD noise coming from the room above our room. It was drilling and pounding. We called down to the front desk and it took 5 calls before they finally stopped. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We spent a very nice night at the hotel during our 1.5 day trip to Petra. The staff was welcoming and extremely accommodating; upgrading our room and allowing us to check out and leave our bags in our car until we finished touring Petra. The service was all around top notch, in particular at the bar, Al Maqa'ad, where we also ate dinner. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and serene, and the location immediately across the street from the Petra visitor's center is hard to beat. Highly recommend.
