Central location; good welcome and services. Room has all main facilities for short-term and business stay. Especially liked the large size of the bed and the comfort of sleep. Breakfast was good with a variety of local and international options. Wi-Fi worked well. The bathroom and its amenities need some improvement. A bit outdated furniture, but still acceptable level. If the room's window faces the street (like mine), it will be noisy all day and night.

Location is great with great walkability around and plenty of restaurants and bars.. the building however is quite oldish and the rooms could have been kept in better shape.. breakfast has decent variety to cover dietary preferences..

I visited Uzbekistan in September 2022. Beautiful country and kind people EXCEPT for this hotel. Due to my health situation, I cancelled my stay 4 days before my Check-in. Still the hotel refused providing any refund. I sent them medical documents, but they said they require documents showing that I have been hospitalized. I explained that not all illnesses result in staying in the hospital but still they did not return any amount of my money. Uzbekistan is full of nice people. It is unfortunate that none of them make decisions at Grand Mir. Book any hotel but this one.
