Everything was great. Friendly staff despite limited English but hey it is the Czech Republic. Had a two room suite, nice except bathtub was clogged but it was fixed immediately. Paid $86 US Dollars for 4 nights Great Great breakfast.

We have stayed in the newly refurbished family suite on the 3rd floor. The renovation is very high quality and everything looked wonderful. Nice light features (cove lights, back lighting, floor lamp), high quality wall panelling, good neutral colour scheme with a hint of green velvet. Very spacious and comfortable. Beds were fantastic too. Marble bathroom. It was great value, highly recommend it. Staff are very helpful too. Breakfast is excellent with a large selection of food.

When we got there they gave us a room that was twice smaller than the room that we payed for. It was 16°C and the heating was barely working. There is no Pool and when we complaned about the temperature they only gave us an electric heater. And at 9 am they started to drill at full power and woke up probably like half the hotel. At least the rooms were nice but WE GOT THE WRONG ONE! And the viev is also bad. We got a BeAuTiFuLl view at 4 walls and a fake owl. Not recommended.

We booked the biggest room by booking.com. We got twice smaller (nobody told us about that at reception, later they lied to us about other issues) with kids’ bed by ours. IT WAS FREEZING COLD in the room - only 16 Celsius degrees. After two hours it was no better so we called the reception and they said that the heating was faulty, but they WILL BRING US AN ELECTRIC HEATER. In a four star hotel… I called every other hotel in the city, but it was friday night and all booked so we had no choice but to stay. The restaurant was said to be open till 1am and orders by Roomservice till 11PM. I wanted to eat anything at 10:40pm BUT ALL WAS CLOSED. I couldnt sleep because of the whole stress, I fell asleep in the morning. But at 9 AM someone started drilling and hammering because of the hotel’s renovating works. It should start after check outs! I came here to rest, paid a lot and got NO REST. From minor things - bathroom was new and clean but with NO electric socket whasoever and there was a bad stink from the sewers - from the sink and bathtub. My daughter couldnt brush her teeth there because she felt like throwing up. Oh, and the view was at four walls and hanging a dead owl - which turned out to be fake for scaring the pigeons - a great idea, especially for kids. Speaking of kids - there was no playroom for them, no toys, swimming pool, nothing. They said it was a business hotel but I saw many guests with kids. There was no manager (WEEKEND!) to complain to, just two emploees in their twenties who were of little help and just kept apologising. We contacted them many times. The place was like from a communist museum, absolutely not deserving four stars. They wanted to refund us the breakfast, but we just paid and ran away from there as fast as we could. I WOULD NEVER WANT TO STAY THERE EVEN FOR FREE. Terrible place. I’ve got photos and videos if anyone wants to see.

The hotel is very centrally located with an easy, very short walk to the Center. It is also very close to the main train station and multiple tram stops. This of course makes it busy at night time which can also be noticeable in at least some of the rooms. Parking is also a bit challenging but you can reserve spaces directly outside the hotel for an additional fee. The hotel as of August 2023 has been recently renovated and the rooms are spacious and very nicely designed. They are even better than some 5 star hotels. Some rooms however do not have a shower but a sit down in-bath shower. It’s a large corner bath which is nice but still unusual. The breakfast was as good as you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
