Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome Station, commonly known as "Tenroku," first became a tram station in 1914 when the Hanshin Kita-Osaka Line was extended from Noda. In 1915, the Osaka City Tram was extended from Kitahama, and in 1925, the Keihan Shinkeihan Line, which is now the Hankyu Senri Line, was extended from Awaji, and the starting point on the Osaka side was 3rd and 5th on the second floor of the station building. It was Tenjinbashi Station, the comb-shaped terminal station on the line. In 1930, we began operating a 34-minute super express train to Kyoto Saiin Station, and in 1943, due to wartime national policy, the current Keihan and Hankyu companies merged to become Keihanshin Kyuko Electric Railway, but the merger was canceled at a board meeting in 1949. After some discussion about returning to the previous version, it was decided that it would belong to the Hankyu side, and the Shin-Keihan Line was renamed the Kyoto Main Line. However, from 1956, all limited express trains running on the Kyoto Main Line departed from Umeda, and Tenjinbashi Station The station became the only station where trains departed from and arrived at. In 1959, the Kyoto Main Line was renamed the Senri Line, and the Osaka City Tram was abolished in 1968, but in 1969, just before the 1970 World Expo, the Osaka Municipal Subway Sakaisuji Line opened, and the Hankyu Senri Line Mutual access operations have begun. Tenjinbashi Station, which had been a terminal until then, was changed to an underground island-style one-sided, two-track system, and the station name was changed to ``Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome.'' At first, there was direct service to Takatsuki City Station, but since 1979, it has been in Kawaramachi, Kyoto. A ``Sakaisuji Express'' was established that ran directly to the station, and at one time a ``Direct Limited Express ``Hozu'' was also running. In 1974, with the opening of the Osaka Municipal Subway Tanimachi Line between Higashi Umeda and Miyakojima, Tenroku Station on the Tanimachi Line opened at a deeper location than the Sakaisuji Line, and in the same year, the Hanshin Kita-Osaka Line was abolished. It had the longest station name in Japan until the opening of Made Kyudai Hospital Station in 1984, but although it has now fallen out of the top 20, it is located at the northern end of Japan's longest shopping arcade, Tenjinbashisuji Shopping Street.
