We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is about 10 minutes from the centre, we hired a car to get around. There's a big car park which is great. We did sightseeing in the day and returned to the hotel later. The hotel has a lovely forest theme. They have really thought about what people would like to do for a fun stay. There is a bar that is open until 11pm. Then there's cans of drinks and snacks available 24/7. There's a variety of board games, wooden games, giant connect 4, darts and pool! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming.(the guys on the reception and the bar inparticular). Although we went as couples there was also lots that teenagers and children would have liked. The surroundings were very nice, it reminded me of centre parcs.

Had a brill experience at the Green Park Hotel when I went! There is loads to do like a swimming Pool, pool table, lots of games and a bar! We rented bikes for I believe €20 each a day! If you go it is definitely worth doing that as they are great quality bikes and saves on taxis plus is more of the Belgian experience! The only thing I would improve is the pizza I got from the restaurant I felt could have been a bit higher quality, especially as it wasn’t the cheapest thing in the world!

First thing to say is the staff were really nice. Very friendly, kind, and helpful. Though not enough of them at times. The reception staff had to help out in the bar in the evening when it got busy, and in the morning at breakfast it seemed like there weren't enough people again to cope with the bus load of tourists all eating before they left at 7.30am. The room itself was good and bad. The main room was perfectly nice. Had obviously been recently redone and felt comfortable and pleasant. The bathrooms (separate toilet and bathroom), we're not so nice. Not exactly dirty but they didn't exactly feel clean either. Honestly both the toilet and bathroom needed to be stripped out and redone new. The hotel was kinda quirky and you could see that they were trying hard to make it a fun place for people to stay. I loved the touches here and there of personality that the staff put in. But overall the place felt quite run down. If some decent money was invested in it it could be a really lovely hotel. Right now it's just about ok. Clearly lots of things to do in warmer weather (pool, and outdoor games, and things for kids). The board games could do with an update (some classic 70s/80s original games that had seen better days). We did eat in the bar in the evening and then we had breakfast in the morning. The bar food was ok though limited in offerings and not exactly cheap. Breakfast was decent enough though we were lucky to get any as a bus load of tourists were in there before us (we came down for 7.30am when it was meant to start), and there was barely anything left. We managed to get what was left but everyone who came in after us was out of luck and had to wait for things to be restocked. All in all I would stay again, but only if (when?) it is refurbished.
