As recognition in the latest edition of lonely planet this truly is a great place to stay. We stayed for 3 nights and did the trip to floating marked with the best guides in our whole trip so far. The resort has excellent food, and super friendly English speaking staff. They will help you with anything. The city of Can tho is a 20 min Grab trip away.

We had a very nice stay at Green Village Mekong. The place is located very original in the rural suburbs of can tho. The free bike tour to the local market is recommended! Even the river on the pictures is not really a river, but more like a pond on the property the location is nicely arranged. The staff is super friendly and helped us a lot! The food is okay, but not extraordinary. The rooms could definitely be a little cleaner. Especially the floating market tour in the morning and the local food tour in the evening are absolutely worth visiting!! The two dogs are absolutely gorgeous!

This is a beautiful place to relax. The bungalows are very pretty and cosy. We enjoyed the great hospitality of the owner and delicious dinnen. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood with the bicycle provided for free. The owner organized for us a lovely private tour with a tour guide to the Tra Su Forest with a drop of in Chau Doc for even a better price than group tours.The Green Village Mekong is definitely a strongly recommended place to stay.

Great place to stay to see the Mekong, close to Can Tho which is definitely worth a visit. The tour of the floating markets has to be the best guided tour I’ve done so far on my travels, the guide was exceptional, knew exactly what we wanted to see, spoke perfect English and was very informative in a non-boring way, unlike many other tours! The staff at the property were on call 24/7 and very happy to help with anything you need like laundry, transport and day to day things. You really appreciate it when you see the gardeners and cleaners working hard in the heat to keep the place going! The dinners were nice and always a good surprise when brought to you, (especially the mother’s pumpkin soup!), you won’t go hungry! The reception staff were really friendly and always up for a chat, the handyman/boat driver was very entertaining too. Fully recommend staying with their family for a couple nights if you’re in the area!
