Cheap hotel. Parking is payed extra. No air-conditioning in the room and original solution for fresh food storage (refrigerator with lockers). Lidl market is about 5 minutes away if you need to resupply.

I feel a bit contradicted about this hotel. We stayed two nights. The hotel decent, but if they would fix a few annoying issues it would be much better. First thing that caught my eye entering the hotel was the litter on the reception floors and tables. It was not busy, but no one bothered to clean up. Not during the entire day, nor night, through two shift changes. Only when I mentioned this finally in the morning they cleaned up - it took 30 seconds. Another thing, in room 101 (which is nice if you need accessibility), the small window can’t be closed. The handle is missing, and reception could not find another one. The trouble is that the guests who smoke want to spread their poisonous smoke to other people and just step outside of the rear door to smoke, right below the hotel windows. The smoke comes through the window. The hotel could at least point the smokers further away, and provide a handle for the window. Breakfast is so-so. We stayed in about 15 hotels this summer and this is the most basic breakfast. would be ok if the coffee wasn’t the worst I’ve had. It takes talent to make bad filtered coffee. The other day there was something off with the scrambled eggs, could not eat them after tasting. On the good side the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Also I like the ecological thinking. Even though it is not in the very centre of the town, Vaasa is so small that the location is still very central. 5 minutes walk from the train station. Take the lift or stairs up from the station to the bridge, it is shorter than going around on the road like Google Maps will route you.

Very nice and clean hotel with cheap roomrates near to the city center. Friendly staff. Bicycles for free. Fridge and little kitchen on the hotel floor
