Our overnight stay at Grovefield house hotel was a lovely respite on our way to visit friends in Burnham. The location proved both convenient and charming. Meticulously landscaped gardens and ample free parking surrounded the distinctive hotel, which brimmed with character. Our comfortable room welcomed us with everything needed for an effortless stay: hairdryer, iron, tea facilities, and even a magnifying bathroom mirror - no need to unpack my own! We sank into the fresh white linens and large, plush beds, which promised a rejuvenating sleep. Though we regretted not having time to sample the dining or to enjoy the gardens, the hotel's reasonable rates, quality amenities, and immaculate surroundings impressed us. From check-in to check-out, the thoughtful staff ensured our perfect stay. We departed refreshed and planning for a longer return visit to better enjoy this gem of a hotel, which exceeded our every expectation.

Pleasant enough hotel that has seen better days. No aircon in rooms like many UK hotels and a fan that blasted a pile of dust all over the place when we turned it on. Shower was scalding hot with no way of cooling it down. Gave up and had a bath… Staff are excellent though and brekkie was first class - big portions and good choices. Lovely grounds.
