Friendly staff Affordable and best value Be careful with kitchen equipments specially microwave for cooking. Not cleaned properly by the staff. Good location. Cleaning charge of 60SEK/person on checking out.

Nice and clean rooms and bathrooms. If you have a bunk bed, you don´t have close plugs near the bed though. And don´t forget to bring your own bed linen! Location was a 30-40 minute walk from city centre. Overall a really good experience and really nice facilites for that price!

We enjoyed our stay at the hostel. Two things that could need improvement are: 1) there seem to be too few rest rooms, it was often difficult to catch a free one. Also the only option to get access to a basin (e.g. for washing your face, shaving, etc.) was by occupying a rest room. However, there were no mirrors in the rest rooms and the basins were irritatingly small if you wanted to do anything but washing your hands. 2) you need to make sure that you let the hostel know in advance if you want to check-in later than 4pm, because they won't send you the information how to check-in on your own automatically if you didn't show up before 4pm. Everything else was good!

Sadly another traveller’s bicycle was stolen from the lobby during the night whilst I was staying. There was another bike in the lobby that didn’t get stolen however. Luckily my bicycle was inside the locked luggage room, so if you are travelling by bicycle just be aware of this and maybe also ask to leave your bicycle in the luggage room for extra security. Location is great, easy 30 min walk to town and a large grocery store (Coop) a few minutes walk away. A lot of showers and toilets to use, all of which were very clean. Beds weren’t the comfiest, dorm beds have a curtain and your own light which is nice, bedrooms were very clean too. Nice and very helpful staff. Great kitchen to cook in with plenty free food to help yourself to from other travellers, maybe check it before going to buy your own groceries, and a large dining room to eat in. Only one area with sofas to relax however.

I had an absolutely lovely time at the Vandrarhem - the staff was super friendly, the rooms were nice because the 8-bed-dormitory had two rooms with four beds each and the bunk beds had curtains for more privacy. Each shower and bathroom is a separate room and there was shampoo etc. to borrow. The community kitchen offers everything you need: a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge etc. and multiple Tables. Last but not least, the breakfast was cheap and really amazing; there was a ton of different food to choose from.
