Advantages: Convenient location (center) Tea, coffee, fridge Flaws: Small room, small beds bad wifi 3rd floor (no elevator) Very noisy until 12 midnight You need to run to the toilet through a common corridor !!! Problems with the toilet, the shower does not close tightly, rust Only one free socket in the room

This Guesthouse in Florence was so close the the Cathedral that using the term “a stone throw away” will put the property to shame…. This property is pretty close to the Train station. It has rooms on the 1st and 3rd floor. We were given the ones on the 3rd floor. If you are someone who is ok with stairs then this is for you and also if you want to stay really close to this main cathedral. There are a lot of places to eat around which are open till 10 pm.The rooms are small but. spacious and clean.The bathroom is not attached to the room but it’s very close right outside your room. But the bath area is very small. I stayed here for just one night so the up and down from 3rd floor to ground floor was ok with me. Like I sd if you r ok with climbing then this is the perfect place to book.There is no Breakfast here.

What a charming accommodation! The room had everything we needed and more. The manager/owner reached out to us after our booking to provide all the necessary information regarding arrival, advising on tickets that would sell out quickly, and helping us make a dinner reservation. We could not have been happier. The location was in the pedestrian-only area in the shadow of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The bells rang on the hour. It was lovely. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The first two days we stayed in a double room with private bath. However, the bathroom was less than 1 meter square, the smallest we have ever seen. The rest of the room and amenities were great. The window did not have a view. On the third day we moved to a different room where the bathroom was spacious and we had a great rest of the stay. The location is great, with everything within 10 min of walking. The building is really old with no elevators. We had a hard time with our heavy suitcases.
