Please thank Mr. Hasan Quddus for following his daily cleaning schedule and ensuring that my room is cleaned and checked every day. He also always gives professional, friendly, and exciting service, makes sure housekeeping standards are met, and responds quickly when guests ask for extra towels, water, etc. Mr. Quddus's professionalism and excellent service well deserved to be recognized.

Stayed at Gulf Hotel Residence many times! Always fabulous service, large rooms, great food. Especially Sato for hibachi, sake and sushi. 2 bedroom apartments are the way to go. Huge, with kitchen, dining and living room, under $300

The new wing, Tower Block, opens with 240 rooms. 1981Awal Ballroom opens. 1983Furusato Japanese restaurant opens. Later re-named SATO when taken over by the hotel. 1984SHERLOCK HOLMES English Pub opens. 1985 AugustThe Health Club and LA PERGOLA Italian Restaurant open, followed by the newly refurbished AL WAHA Café Restaurant. 1988Launching of Bahrain’s premiere poolside extravaganza – GULF NIGHT OUT. 1990Mr. Mohamed Buzizi becomes General Manager of Gulf Hotels Group. Mr. Aqeel Raees takes over as General Manager of Gulf Hotel. ZAHLE Lebanese Restaurant opens. 1992Mr. Mohamed Buzizi becomes the Chief Executive of Gulf Hotels Group. Business Centre, with its two meeting rooms, opens.
