Royal Wharf is a very clean and quiet residential area, full of modern newly built developments. The main downside is the close proximity to the City Airport: airplanes' sound emissions are very loud and constant from 4.30am till 10pm. While a good acoustic insulation can work in the cold months, when windows are open or you're sit on a balcony, the sound is really loud, you're barely able to hear your TV. Too bad, otherwise it could have been a nice choice for living in London.

Phase 1 of Royal Wharf is near completion and with most part of it now being open to public with works still being carried is a great opportunity to come and see firsthand what this project is all about.

Looks great but built with very cheap materials. I visited also few other blocks in the development and everything looks the same. The park is cute and area is very clean compared to some other areas in London. A big grocery store is really missing in the area so you have to rely on delivery (Amazon grocery, Morrison delivery etc) However it is a nice area to live, with Uber boat also available very close by etc

Royal Wharf is an outstanding place to live along the Thames with many restaurants and a variety of food shops. We have lovely stalls and street food markets at the weekends.The buildings are built to high standards and are energy rating B. There are good transport links and you can go to the Airport via DLR (2 Stops) to a destination of your choice. Another review said "Airplane noise pollution 04:30 am" this is BS. I have had my window open all night and it's so peaceful with our Persian cats at the windows.
