Stayed with Hajo for a little over two weeks in December 2023 and had the most amazing time! Breakfast was delicious and made to order each morning. The staff and Hajo were all so personable and attentive and the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable! We also did Hajo’s township tour which was thought provoking and included tours of some of the homes of friends Hajo has made in the last 20 years living and working with the townships. The highlight of which was definitely lunch at Maria’s. The neighborhood is safe and walkable (at least during the day) and right next to the paddocks mall which has a grocery store and some food venues as well which is super convenient. It’s a short 20-40 min Uber (generally around 150-250 Rand) into any part of Cape Town proper.

We stayed at Hajo's Lodge for 5 weeks in November/December 2022. Hajo and his staff were amazing and could not have done more for us. The lodge is beautiful, spacious and we were being warmly welcomed as part of the family. The rooms are very clean and there is also an honesty fridge with wines, beers, soft drinks etc. Breakfast was a dream and the menu has many choices! The property is in an upmarket residential area but close enough to Cape Town, Blouberg and the mall in Milnerton, which is not even 5 minutes away. We left knowing we had made new friends and will return in the future.

We booked a half-day township tour with Hajo and can 100% recommend it! It was an unique experience and we loved that due to the privacy of the tour it was possible to get in touch with the locals. Another highlight was the lunch at Maria‘s place, a charming and lovely South African mama. Thank you Hajo and Maria for this outstanding experience. What an unforgettable 2.5 weeks of stay a this absolutely amazing guesthouse. Extremely secure and less than 5 minutes walking distance from the Paddocks shopping Mall. Hajo really makes your stay a memorable one. Providing staff that makes you feel at home when you away from home. They cater for laundry as well as superb breakfasts to meet your taste. Boasting a fully stocked honesty bar to meet your needs. Centrally located to the infamous Canal Walk and awesome views of the majestic Table Mountain. Falencia your host really goes the extra mile to ensure that your catered needs are attended to wih the delicious breakfast she prepares. Hajo's your home away from home
