This hotel is nestled down an alley which doesn't feel too inviting at first, but after a day, you'll come to appreciate the charm of the location. It is positioned well for tourists who want to experience the Old Quarter as well as get picked up for tours. The room is good, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is quite nice. But, where this place shines is the breakfast. It was amazing. Not the cheap "continental" cafeteria slop I'm used to finding at budget priced hotels. This was restaurant quality. You place your order the night before and you have 5 or 6 Vietnamese options and some western options. I only tried the Vietnamese ones. They were amazing. The portions are huge and my girlfriend and I eventually started ordering only one to split. The tea and coffee are great and they have a club sandwich that you can take to go in lieu of your breakfast if you have to leave early for a tour or something. It was great, too. I highly recommend this family owned and operated hotel if your are planning a vacation near the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

The hotel is placed in an Alley which at first was a bit sketchy. But we felt comfortable as we started to explore the locality. Service was good. The breakfast has to be pre-ordered a night before. But the breakfast turned out to be above our expectations. The rooms were spacious compared to other hotels in the locality and hence is a good value for money.

It is a nice enough hotel, tidy and got all things needed air con for heat, bathroom, beds are comfy, staff are kind. For us the location was a little hard to get ourselves with luggage to the hotel entrance, being that its in a tight very busy little side lane.

Hotel is within an alley. Breakfast is not buffet type but you have options to choose from. I would recommend arranging airport transfer with hotel as it costs only 300k VND and the hotel boss will make sure the car comes into the small street at the entrance of the alley. I appreciate this gesture so that I do not have to struggle with the motorbikes and my heavy luggage 😅

Pros: - Spacious room, ample wardrobe space, and well-designed layout between the bedroom and bathroom. Elevator is typically uncrowded. Cons: - Inconvenient location with a 2-5 minute walk on a dirty, chaotic street for transportation. - The surrounding area is disorderly and lacks appeal. - The city view is limited to neighbouring residents, lacking privacy. - Poor sound insulation through connecting doors results in noise disturbance. - One notable issue was the unhelpful staff. We managed our luggage and doors independently during check-in and check-out. This lack of assistance, especially when carrying large bags, created a less-than-ideal experience. Staff who seemed preoccupied with their conversations observed our arrival and departure, further contributing to a feeling of neglect.
