I am deeply disappointed with the customer support policy of this hotel. Planning to celebrate my birthday in Ireland, I made hotel and flight reservations and applied for a tourist visa. Understanding the delay in visa processing and unable to obtain the necessary document. Before two days, I requested to cancel my booking, explaining the cancellation due to circumstances beyond my control. Unfortunately, the company's management decided to withhold the entire payment for the booking, despite cases like these typically warranting only a one-day charge. The administration chose to keep the full amount and resell these rooms. I am incredibly disappointed by this hotel's treatment of its customers. They have been added to my blacklist due to their unfriendly policies. The outcome is sorrowful; I paid a significant amount for my dream trip, which didn't happen because of unforeseen circumstances and further disappointment in the hospitality of this country, based on my personal experience. I strongly advise against booking this hotel for tourists who need to acquire a visa, as visa processing delays may leave you in a regrettable situation. Rating: one star.

The staff was fantastic. Super accommodating & helpful. The rooms are lovely, Tina of old world craftsmanship & detail. 10/10 would stay here again! They do caution it is in a lively entertainment area. We were there on a Sunday night, it wasn't an issue for us at all.

For £200/night, I expect better. The toilet soil pipe was broken with open sewer smell venting into the bathroom, the top cover on the bed was dirty (see photos), there was pounding music all night from the local bars (Wednesday night stay). The shower was very low pressure and combined with a cheap shower head meant it was hard to wash properly. The breakfast was nice, but that is because it’s in the much nicer Iveagh Hotel next door… would not recommend, it’s grandiose but very tired decor. Location is good and just off the airport shuttle stop so convenient. Staff were pleasant.

Cute older hotel with friendly staff. We were on the third floor (top floor) our room had a skylight but luckily we had our eye masks from the plane to use because they have more daylight hours during the summer compared to us in the US. The room had a queen and twin bed. We only needed the queen but this is a nice option for families. Our booking included breakfast from the hotel next door, which was delicious and had a variety of options! I took one star away because I wish we had a fridge in the room and while the location was nice and safe, it was a bit of a longer walk from some of the places we ended up visiting. We got Ubers to some of the meeting spots for bus tours to insure we had time to eat breakfast, grab sandwiches and snacks for lunch (this is where the fridge would have been nice) and make it before the buses left.

The hotel was easy to find and had parking for our rental car. The rooms were clean, mattress was a little uncomfortable. It is in the city center so very easy to walk or use the hop on off busses. The noise at night from the tram was a little distracting, but it's the city so it was expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and out was seemless as well.
