I had a fantastic stay at HARRIS Resort Barelang Batam. The breathtaking sea views and serene atmosphere made my vacation truly relaxing. Negatives - 1. Cigarette buds everywhere, outside restaurants, on beach with no one cleaning them. Dirty private beach with a lot of filth. 2. Dirty chair padding in every restaurant. 3. Poor room service experience as food delivered in takeaway paper box. 4. People entering pool wearing everything, no rule enforcement by management. 5. People coming for breakfast directly from pool, all wet, again no rule enforcement by management. Positives: 1. Amazing helpful and friendly staff. 2. Rock salt cafe views , and quality of food. 3. Multiple pools and Instagram worthy locations across the resort. 4. Efficient ferry shuttle.

Highly disappointed and upset with the buffet served at beach club for dinner... The expensive price we paid for food did not match the quality at all! We were told there will be an abundance of food served but there was little food served, unhygienic food and uncooked meat served! The service from the staff was good but we don't recommend dining here...

Just visited Harris Barelang Resort and it was disappointed. It was like a run down hotel although it’s not that old hotel. We occupied connecting sea view rooms and the rooms are a total disaster. 1. Saw fresh blood stain on the bedsheet - not sure whether the hotel change the bedsheet. 2. Door knob of connecting door almost broken/fall off. 3. There is severe mold on the chair 4. The hotel still use broken tissue box. 5. One of the mosquito repellent sachet was opened and never discarded. 6. Missing dental kit in one of the room. 7. Missing one glass in one of the room. 8. Rusty “do not disturb” sign 9. Smelly sewer 10. Room bell not working The good thing was the spacious room, the beach, big swimming pool and various activities available for guest.
