To flee, flee and flee again. We booked the deluxe room of this hotel for 3 nights on Agoda. After a long day of traveling to Kathmandu, we arrive at the hotel around 10:30 p.m./11 p.m. When we arrived, a lady took us to a room of a much lower standard. When we return to reception to explain that this is not the room we reserved, the owner gets angry and tells us that he does not work with Agoda, despite the proof of reservation that we present to him on the application. He told us that he would not give us this room and that he would not reimburse us and that we would just have to settle for the room that we were given. (No heating in this one - despite the 5 degrees outside - clearly questionable cleanliness, shower instead of bathtub...) All while shouting and calling us Europeans who are trying to take advantage of the Nepalese, and being disrespectful. This gentleman therefore kept our money, and we had to look for another hotel at 11:20 p.m. In 6 months of traveling and using Agoda, we have never experienced this.
