Hatagoya Jyozankei Shoten - Hostel

We checked in during February, three people in a Japanese-style suite. Location: 4 stars It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the main hot spring street area (under snowy conditions). However, since we were primarily here for soaking in the hot springs and we had our own vehicle, the location didn't cause us any trouble. Facilities: 4 stars (1) The room space is quite large, but the en-suite bathroom is relatively small. (2) It's worth noting that our room type didn't have an in-room bathroom, so we had to use the communal bath for showering. This might be less familiar for Taiwanese visitors, but personally, I didn't find it bothersome. (3) There are board games available for free on the first floor, which was quite enjoyable. (4) The hot spring area is spacious, and there's also an outdoor section – it feels great to soak in the hot springs surrounded by snow. Dining: 3.5 stars We only had breakfast at the hotel once; all other meals were eaten outside. Therefore, I'll only comment on the breakfast. There were only two options for breakfast. I chose curry, and although the presentation wasn't impressive, the rice and curry tasted decent. Overall, it's a hotel with good value for money (CP value).
