It is a peaceful place, the rooms are good. Lush green environment is what I loved the most. The peppery is well maintained ans picturesque scenic views are good. Perfect place for holiday if you love peaceful environment. Buffet has enough varieties.

My stay at the hotel was disappointing. The pervasive unpleasant smell, consistently musty sheets, and the presence of bed bugs were major drawbacks. Additionally, non-functioning air conditioning and doors that wouldn't close properly added to the discomfort. The dinner provided was mediocre, contributing to an overall subpar experience. It falls short of a 3-star rating. It's actually disappointing to have read reviews and see the responses giving hope to fix the situation but even today the complaints are similar. Clearly there will be no form of improvement so rather find an alternative hotel. I'm pretty sure bed bugs are visible especially the stain they leave and the musty smell of the sheets and mattress however thanks for escalating the matter 👍🏾

I’ve been to quite a few southern sun hotels and they’ve been fairly good but this was the first one to disappoint us the way it did first day of arrival the rooms were so smelly I’m not sure if it’s the Capet or what but the smell was so pungent we had to change the rooms. The rooms are dark no good lighting within the room itself the doors don’t work properly especially bathroom doors you have to force shut them which is ridiculous for a southern sun hotel that claims 3 stars second day the beds sheets were filled with bugs and ants and they didn’t smell and look clean they had stains as well overall I would not recommended this hotel at all especially if you are planning to sleep more than a night here there’s still so much to improve especially with the room so disappointed not hotel standard rather motel feeling if you ask me

We knew something was off when we checked in on Friday night as the Receptionist spoke to the house keeper around the corner of the reception. At first we thought our room was not ready and shortly thereafter we were given room 18,which had a window that did close and it was raining that night,the water pressure in the shower was low/shower head was not working,the room was stuffy. We asked to be moved and this was only done the following day around 12pm....It got worse when we wanted to book a safari tour to Kruger National Park,the same receptionist then called a tour operator that left us at the gate of kruger National park and told us he had forgotten other guests. We waited for the guide(Kruger via canyon Safari) for 2 hours before he could return and when he did return,we told him we want to go back to our hotel and he didn't make any alternative arrangements.Transport was then arranged by the Kruger National Park team and not even Hazyview sun bothered to make any transport arrangements when we called them during the 2 hours we were waiting for the tour guide.Overall the stay was just unpleasant

Booked standard room though wasn't happy with ventilation, the bathroom size was tiny and no ventilation it mase the whole room stink . Though loved the net they placed on roof neat and made freaky people like myself feel safe from whatever creature of dust that fall off the roof. Their kitchen has variety, loved it. The outside view was peaceful and beautiful.
