Amazing place to stay with the family. The host is are very warm and friendly person. Her house was built by herself and the rooms have good finishes and are well maintained. Her grown up children are also (partially)involved in the hospitality team. We decided to stay in that part of Capetown due to the vicinity of the schools. The area is safe, and surrounded by beautiful parks with tennis courts and lovely views. After the first meal, we decided to have supper almost everyday at Hedge House. One of her children supplies delicious pork from his own farm. Arguably the best in the country. The culinary achievements of the team are surpassing every imaginable expectation.

I wish there was a 10 star rating. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when in CT. Booking process was seamless. Communication fantastic. Our room was spacious, very clean and serviced daily. The king size bed is soft and bedding luxurious. The service from Shirley was exceptional. The breakfasts can't be beaten!!!! Hedge House is a must!!!

Rooms are spacious, cosy and spotlessly clean. I had fresh white roses in my room and that was lovely. You have the possibility to have a heater during cold nights. The bathroom is big : has even a bathtub. There is an electric kettle at your disposal to make tea/coffee. There is kitchenette, no oven but a microwave, minibar. Tea bags/coffee, sugar, fresh milk as well as rusks are provided daily. Cuttlery available. Breakfast is also served at the main house. The food served is yummy, I had fresh fruits, cereals, various jams, and the list goes on. Nothing to complain, Grant is a great host.

Hedge house was so welcoming, greeted by Shirley and taken care off by Anna and Simon. Would hands down recommend this place to friends and family. My stay was brief yet pleasant. The food was some of the best I've tasted and I always looked forward to the breakfast and coming back to a nice home cooked meal. I felt really well accommodated and had some great conversations with staff and management. Perfectly situated with a mall nearby and the airport was also within reasonable distance. I also loved the fact that the place was pet friendly, environmentally conscious and just so picturesque. Thank you for going the extra mile and the lovely service. Will definitely be back!
