The Heritance Tea Factory is unique. Its history and location give you a real feel for the past. The rooms are fine. The restaurant and main bar are atmospheric. The staff are universally lovely, friendly and helpful. It is an ideal location for trekking, bird watching and mountain biking. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay.

Very unique and stunning hotel with beautiful surroundings. Interesting history regarding the tea factory. Brilliant service, very spacious and clean rooms. Well kept facilities and great food. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

A fantastic experience but one night is enough. The history and hotel itself are fascinating but there are certain areas which could do with a refresh (shower isn’t very strong and the hair dryer runs out of power very easy. Our own hair dryer was too powerful and wouldn’t work). The bed was also very hard and you could feel the springs of the mattress. However, service was amazing and the food and drinks in the restaurant and H bar were fabulous. Overall we enjoyed our stay but do not consider this to be 5*.

We had a fantastic welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room was a bit noisy but a good size with good facility. All the staff were brilliant and the food excellent. But what made the stay even better was our tour of the tea making process. Firstly we were dressed in a sari then we went tea plucking in the tea plantation. We were shown the different stages used by the machinery. Our teacher Krishnaveni was the best and such good fun. We had a clear understanding at the end of the tour.

This hotel is beautiful! The views are breathtaking and the grounds are peaceful to explore. The inside of the hotel is so unique. It was a memorable experience from the moment I stepped inside the hotel until the moment we left. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good. I loved all of the things offered at the hotel to do such as tea tasting and tea picking. An amazing, relaxing, and unforgettable stay.
