The location is quite a walk from the station, uphill to get to the hotel be mindful if traveling with alot of baggage. Hotel rooms were spacious but had a big dead beatle in the middle of the sleeping area.... the onsen provided was good, smaller then expected and there are no food options near by, the hotel provides vending machine meals that's it. Walls are thin as well, could hear kids crying from 4-5 rooms down.

Decent hotel. The room was giant but had an odd smell (I think from the air conditioning). The rooms are also very poorly soundproofed - we could hear screaming children in the common area until about 11pm which was unpleasant. The location was very close to Lake Ashi. There is little to no food around, but the front desk does sell cup noodles.

It was enough for a night without meals. I was staying for a walk around Lake Ashi and didn't want to spend a lot of money, so I think it's perfect for that group of people. The room has a shower, separate toilet, and a small public bath. Bread, cup noodles, frozen vending machines, snacks, and more are available. There are no convenience stores nearby, and all the restaurants in Hakone's Togendai close at 4 o'clock, so I think that helps. I wish I knew before I went if possible. I was worried because the name was different from Google and there wasn't much information. The room had been renovated and was spacious and clean. Also thank you.

Bath: When I stayed in July, the bath was too hot to take a bath, but when I visited in September, it was at a comfortable temperature. There is one bathtub. Baby body soap was available for small children. However, there are no baby cots in the changing room. There was a chair with long legs, so I think it's convenient for people with bad legs, but please be careful as there are many steps on the way to the bath. Room: I used the Japanese-Western style room twice and it was comfortable. There is only one chair, so you will have to eat at a Japanese-style table. Due to its size, the Japanese-style room can only be used as a low table if you put two futons on it. There is a table and microwave in the space where the frozen food vending machine is installed, so if you want to sit on a chair and eat, I think that's a good place. (with stairs) Outlet: Located in a difficult to find location. Bed wall side (with extension cord), 2 Japanese-style rooms. Refrigerator: A small refrigerator that is not suitable for long-term stays. Convenience store, supermarket: There are none nearby, so you will need a car. Location: It's not bad, but it's on a slope, so there are stairs and a slope from the parking lot to the hotel entrance. It's close to Lake Ashi, so it's very humid and foggy. Be careful not to overlook the entrance when heading during foggy hours. Request: I would like the refrigerator to be larger and I would like to have a coin laundry attached.
