Francesco and his family are really nice hosts! As soon as we got there we were received by the lovely Ozzy (dog) Francesco explained to us everything and welcomed us. the room was clean and tidy, with all the information needed to explore the city, all the essentials and plenty of towels. The house is not far from the city center and the metro, very convenient location. the house also has a lovely garden to enjoy.

Thank you for your hospitality Francesco, Elena & your 2 girls, not forgetting Ozzy. We both enjoyed our our which was clean, tidy and well maintained. I had a lovely time with Helen, it was our first holiday in Portugal. We didn’t realise it was quite so hilly. We both loved the cafe at the end of the street, it wasn’t big but well stocked. We both wish you well in the future.

I was an Erasmus student in Porto… In one moment I didn’t have a place to stay anymore, but then I met this young couple: Elena and Francesco. They hosted me and I felt so lucky to have found them. At the beginning, I was just another guy living in their house. Things changed after such a short period of time. I was so lucky to spend time with them because we got closer and closer to each other. We became friends. Nevertheless, this is how Francesco and Elena are: kind & friendly. They do not share a house with Erasmus students and have just an owner-tenant relationship with them, they put their hearts always in every student’s story that is written in their house. I was so lucky to wrote also mine by their side. They are such a beautiful family: Francesco, Elena, two sweet little girls and a very very nice black Labrador dog, Ozzy. They felt like family. They helped me with whatever I needed help with, always, and never asking for anything in return. They offered their kindness and amiability to all the visitors in their house. Respecting the house and the hosts and they would have treated you the same way. It was a home for everybody staying there…Also, their place is very comfortable & pleasant & clean and every guest has its own privacy. Moreover, a “poster” in front of the door describes best the atmosphere of the house: ‘You come as a guest, you leave as a friend’. Maybe I didn’t understand the meaning by the time I arrived, but time made things very clear: Francesco and Elena made my Erasmus Mobility the best period of my life. Best times in Porto, best times spent with them too. I am grateful for everything they have done either for me and for each guest that entered their cozy house. They are amazing, I am wishing them the best of luck with everything in their lives. I hope I will have the opportunity one day to go back to Porto and visit my friends, Elena and Francesco, again.
