I wish I would’ve read all the negative reviews before staying here. All the negative customer service reviews are spot on. They did not inform me at the time of booking or during check in that the parking would be almost $40 per night. When I spoke to the hotel representative and explained this she mentioned I “should’ve” been told at check in and that and that in some fine print somewhere they mention other additional charges. I definitely recommend reading all the negative reviews and finding a different hotel to stay at.

Chose this hotel based on location. We came up for the weekend to see some hockey games. I always check in and typically select my room from the app. Once we arrived, we were not permitted early check in. Had to wait until 3pm not a second earlier. A long wait, being that our flight changed and we arrived around 12:30pm. Rooms were great, large and clean. Service was just ok. We did not have shampoo when we arrived. Went out for the day and when we returned to find the room was cleaned and beds made, we still did not have shampoo replaced. As a Diamond member, we definitely did not feel like Diamond members here. This tier may only be important in the states and not in Canada. Location was great, walking distance to everything we needed. Will try a different Hilton when visiting Montreal next.

Made Montreal a stop on a long road trip from Michigan to Maine. This hotel had a good location and met our needs. We had to wait until 3 to check in - not a big deal, along with several other groups. Would have been great if the bar was open while we waited! The parking was fine, kind of a tight squeeze going down the ramps and finding a spot. Our room was nice with one big issue - the temperature was over 80 degrees. We did what we could to get the temperature down to no avail. We had gotten back from dinner and it was too late to bring it up and switch rooms. Speaking of dinner, the food was very good. The selection of beer was pretty narrow, I found it amazing that getting regular old Canadian beer was really difficult. We had a great breakfast in the restaurant. Skipped the buffet and had the eggs Benedict. Staff was polite. Not sure we'd stay here again.

Very disappointed stay! We stayed at this place in a room with a horrorbile view on garbage bins and concrete buildings. We requested to change rooms but they denied with the reason that we checked in at 2:49pm instead of 3pm so they couldn’t offer us a better room which doesn’t make sense. First The front desk agent offered us to switch rooms on the 10th floor. When we came back to the FD again to change that room the supervisor told us it’s not available for us. Very bad service. One person says something different than the other. None of the windows in the room opens, the AC doesn’t work proper, the pool doesn’t provide any towels and the outside area is covered with bugs and webs. I don’t know when the last time was they cleaned out there. I am disappointed that I left another great hotel for half the price, bigger room and better service for this stay. I would recommend to everyone to go to hotel saint Laurent which is so much better! Nobody seemed to help us here. Definitely will not come back here!
