Neighborhood didn’t feel safe at night when we got there but during the day time it’s fine. The hotel is basic. Not high end. Not bad just basic. We paid for a room with two beds but our room wasn’t available so they gave us one big bed. It was my husband, me and the kids so that wasn’t convenient at all and the room had no couch. They however gave us a significant discount which we are grateful for. One elevator was down when we were there. Valet parking $50 per night .

Conveniently located in the NOMA area with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff is extremely professional, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The Garden Grill serves delicious Appetizers during happy hour and flavorful meals for lunch and dinner. Huge kudos to the Executive Chef. Bartender Kevon was was delightful and fun to visit after a long day of training. Our team gathered around the bar and service was outstanding. Looking forward to my next stay in DC!

For this to be a Hilton property, I am shocked. The room very dated, dusty and stained everywhere. The area doesn’t feel or seem safe. Unfortunately there are homeless and/or suspicious people hanging around the area so being a woman with your small kids so this hotel doesn’t give you the warm welcome you would expect. The valet parking price is ridiculously high to be in this area.

Wow. The beds and linens were comfortable and great. Otherwise the place really came off as ran through. We arrived later than expected, but the reception desk checked us in between their bites of fried chicken. No washing or wiping hands between eating and handling my ID and room keys. There were no luggage carts available which made it a little inconvenient. And the activity in the lobby was a bit surreal. Up in my room the side furniture was worn and stained. When I went to use the ironing board I found it broken and in pieces. The bathroom mirror was peeling, and the sink didn’t drain at first. Also when I opened the mini fridge there was someone else’s leftovers already in it. Ewwww. I had a good night sleep in spite of it all, therefore three stars.

I do not think that people at the front desk are well trained. Especially the manager that messed up our reservation because she was not willing to split the cost of the room on multiple cards. THEY ALSO CHARGE ME TWO TIMES!! I will NOT take in consideration this hotel if you came for a conference and you share the room and need different receive for the reimbursement. They also take the wrong amount of money from my card because they messed with the numbers ( 895 instead of 859). Not to mention that the sheets were dirty with blood. No, I will not recommend it.
