Room and en-suite bathroom were of good size. The shower was rather spacious actually. Everything was mostly clean (the chair had stains everywhete) and seemed to work. The TV would disappoint most - rather small and no features for viewing Web content. Bed was comfy and we slept well. The worst thing (and why I can't rate more than 3stars) was that there was a parking charge for customers... the carpark should have been a free service provided for customers, not be another business opportunity to squeeze out more money from them. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and I didn't notice any special safety features, so what was the charge for? At £7.50, it was about 10% of our stay for the night...

Excellent hotel on the outskirts of Cambridge. The hotel itself is located right nextdoor to Whittlesford Parkway station but in general you don't notice the trains leaving or departing. The trains are quite a talking point in fact. The rooms are nice, quite modern and spacious. The room we had was very clean. Only thing missing in the rooms are USB points. Dare say this could be easily addressed. The food, both breakfast and the menu served all day were excellent. Whilst there is a car park on site, yes there is a charge to use it which is a minor irritation. Though the location of hotel makes London, Cambridge and other places in East Anglia accessible. The staff are also excellent, extremely helpful. We'll be back.

We stopped here as a family. The hotel is very clean and modern. Rooms were good. What stood out for us was the welcome and hospitality of the staff especially on reception. The lady on duty when we checked in (we think it was Jaqueline) was superb and really friendly, chatty.

We had a very good time at the hotel. Clean rooms, perfect shower, good breakfast and lots if choises at the breakfastbar. Very friendly staff. Nothing is too much. Thank you. Near to Cambridge. Went to the Park and ride Trumpington and with shuttle bus in town. Naar the RAF museum. Mc Donald around the corner. We alse went to the American military cemetry. Very impressive. Worth the visit. Only downside is the busy road, but it was not too noisy.

Under staffed for a Saturday night. 2 staff on shift. shocking. 30 covers on the go and the ONE person could not cope. 30 minute wait at bar. 20 minute wait to check in. Staff very rude to customers, was shocked how she spoke to the customer at the bar. We had Pizza and Chips which was ok. Once the ladies stopped panicking it was quite pleasant. May improve when the Red Lion next door opens on a Saturday night again. We have stayed before and was not like this. Would not recommend and won't come here again.
