The Holiday Inn express was always my ‘go to’ hotel off the M4. I was pleasantly surprised to find the same level of service returning 4 years later. The check-in staff were professional and polite. The bedrooms are a good size, including a sofa and clean. I found the bathrooms to be dated, but nonetheless clean. I did not eat at the hotel but was advised breakfast was complimentary. Parking for 24hrs was £16. The only downside are the people smoking directly at the entrance but you cannot blame the hotel for this. A great base for Slough, Windsor & surrounding areas.

Room was clean but the hotel has the heat turned off in the rooms as they felt the weather was "mild" but they did bring up a space heater for us pretty quickly. Also, our hair dryer didn't work, but again fixed the issue quickly. Service was top notch and excellent. lol were friendly and helpful. The name of the hotel includes T5 (referencing terminal 5 @ Heathrow)in its name, causing one to think it's close to T5. It's not. It's roughly 5-7 miles away.. 20+ minute bus ride from the airport

The care park is tight to drive around but spaces are reasonable size. Check in was okay, the staff had a lot of people to deal with. The room was in good condition apart from the bathroom where they need to refresh the rubber seals on the glass panels as lots of build up of dirt/decay. The room was comfortable and on the smaller but plenty of room for a night. Breakfast was not good, no cups for coffee and only part English breakfast. Some of the hot food was cold too which wasn't pleasant. The dining area is not large enough to accommodate the demand on my visit. The location is okay providing you are driving your own car to Heathrow, I would not like to take a bus or taxi myself from there knowing I have a plane to catch too. For the cost of the room and parking you can pay an extra £20 a night and be on the perimeter road around the airport. Would I stay again? No, not because the hotel was bad but because there is better value and better locations to stay near the airport.
