I recently had a very good experience at this hotel and would recommend it for several reasons. The hotel is impeccably clean, and its central location is convenient for exploring Frankfurt. However, I would advise caution when leaving the hotel, especially to the left, as the immediate surrounding area may not be as desirable. Exercise awareness of your surroundings to ensure a safe experience. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. The staff is generally helpful, although I observed that they may not disclose all available facilities. For instance, on the first day and during check-in, I discovered the presence of a gym and a convenient coffee-to-go option – information that was not initially shared by the reception. Room cleaning is thorough, and it's worth noting that amenities like tea and water in the room are already covered in your reservation, saving you any additional charges. In conclusion, it is a great choice for a comfortable stay in Frankfurt, but it's advisable to be mindful of your surroundings when venturing outside the hotel. Additionally, don't hesitate to inquire about available facilities, as not all information may be volunteered by the staff.

The hotel itself is nice. Front desk agent was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. And for the price, great value. The location does have its benefits in terms of being within 10-15 minutes walk from the central train station. However, the area around the hotel is along a street a block down from the red light district. And it's not that it is a red light district that is the issue (there are many in other European cities that are totally fine) but more those openly using drugs on the streets (of the injectable variety), or being verbally aggressive. My wife and I were fine navigating this, but something to be aware of either way. Overall, the hotel can't be faulted for the area around it. If you are looking for somewhere central to the train station, with quality rooms, this is perfect, especially based on their competitive prices.

Yes, this hotel is located in the "Red Light District", but it is also conveniently located near the Frankfurt Main train station. If you don't mind a little "adventure" walking to and from the station, it's not a big deal. Our room was clean, comfortable and had all the creature comforts. Honestly, one of the nicest Holiday Inns I have ever stayed at. A. Pappdillis checked us out at front desk and he was a sweetheart. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Stayed here while taking in the NFL game patriots v colts. Hotel is clean, rooms are fine, staff are friendly. Small and clean gym also on site. Bar is nice and some good beer and ribs are v good. Staff made hot whiskeys for me even though they did not know how and I showed them. Bar staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is iffy, don't turn left when leaving by the front door as it brings you to a dangerous neighboorhood. Just turn right and you be fine. Would stay there again.
