The staff are very nice and it is a good location to get to Fiumicino. We had 3 rooms. They had to move one of the rooms because as soon as we turned on the shower, the floor flooded because the drain was clogged. In the second room, we noticed it did the same thing, but it wasn't as bad. All 3 rooms were so hot we had to turn off the heat and sleep with the windows open and it was still warm. They have a hotel shuttle, but it is €10 per person to use it.

Actually a pretty good place to stay when touring Rome. The train is about a 10 min walk and they sell tickets at the desk at cost. The pathway to train isn't well marked but doesn't take too long to figure out. A pathway from road past an abandoned building leads to the round about and to the hotel. Room was ok but as others have said the walls are like paper and don't block any noise. We have up on air conditioning and just used the window, not sure what happens when it is very hot out. Staff was very polite and helpful. They did get us in our room around noon which was appreciated. Water pressure in shower was fantastic and good hot water. Fridge in room was also nice. Beds were ok I guess for what we paid. Unfortunately it wasn't near a convenience store or anywhere to buy something. Hotel did have cafe but we didn't use it. Also didn't use pool because of season. One negative not within control of hotel is the city tax if 7.5 euros per person per night. This on top of the normal taxes with nothing to show for it is a money grab by local government. All and all, I would recommend.

We stayed at Holiday Inn Rome as part of a European trip. The hotel is outside of Rome central but once we had the local train worked out this was not a problem. The station is a short walk from the hotel and tickets to the Metro in Rome were 1 euro. The hotel itself offered excellent dining facilities, where, my wife, daughter and myself were well looked after by Ciro who had remembered our names from day one and made sure we wanted for nothing. A great alternative to central Rome.
