Turned out to be perfect for our needs. The room was very clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. I read about parking issues, being a member we got free parking. One small issue, the windows do not block out much from the road noise so if you are sensitive, ask for something not facing the street.

It could've been better. There were alot of addicts & drunks roaming around & being free to wander in/out of the hotel. Always a group of sketchy people hanging out right in front. Someone was doing drugs right in the front. I did not feel safe whatsoever especially at night. Given the location & the city. I feel like more should be done to make sure that guests feel safe such as hiring security for the front to monitor who comes in. The other locations in Winnipeg are wonderful. But given the location of this hotel, more could be done for guests. Another thing is that there's no microwaves in the rooms. There was one in the lobby, but it was broken so I asked the restaurant but there's was broken as well. I went to ask front desk if there was any else where but I got brushed off & told to ask the restaurant. It just annoyed me because we're in the city for my child had dental surgery & was very limited on what he could eat. Ordering off skip can be expensive with very few options for him.

Always thought this place was classy til recently .. went to see a friend here .. he meets me outside we enter the hotel and immediately see someone get punched in the face in the elevator. No one reacted or retaliated. The front desk staff didn't seem bothered at all meanwhile they witnessed it so I take it that kind of thing happens regularly there.

I booked a one bedroom suite to have separate sleeping areas for our family. The fold out sofa bed had an old worn out mattress. We had to make it up ourselves and there wasn't a blanket in the suite. We had to request one. We were on the 6th floor but could still hear all of the traffic below, all night long. We were charged extra for parking in the unsecured parking area beside the hotel. At the time of our stay one of the two elevators was out of order.
