Very uncomfortable beds, so loud due to the matras material, that every moment will wake up others. You have to make up your own bed, matras, pillows with all the covers, something I haven't seen in 15 years traveling all over the planet. Airco didn't work all night, couldn't get the room below 25 degrees, our night was therefor terrible. We had a balcony, but could enjoy the door and open it due to a cycling team parked right against our balcony, making noise until deep in the night, from tool noise, to talking and loud music. No respect whatsoever for other holiday guests and apparently the staff didn't care about it either. Very little information, we kept searching for where to put the trash, how to get to the pool, how to get somewhere to meet anyone working there. Inside pool and wellness unavailable due to to many people. Had to make a reservation a day before it to use it for 1 hour. But it opens at 10, the same time we supposed to be checked out of the hotel. Outside pool was so crowded and filled with kids who lack any kind of parental guidance or proper education. No water or other small offers in the rooms. Bathroom has no soundproofing, so becomes very loud in the bedroom and living room. The design of the room doesn't make any sense. Outside parking was blocked due to cycling team so we were forced to use the basement. Spend much time to just find out simple information, cause of the lack of a reception and much unavailability of online information. We rarely ever had a hotel room for almost €200 a night, but never had an experience this bad with the hotel. Clearly the hotel owner has absolutely zero interest in tourism, and all his or her interest in the money machine it simply is. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from places like this.

For other American travelers new to Belgian hotels, they don’t provide towels and they don’t have a front desk. So you call this number in case it’s late at night and you forgot a towel, and a creepy old man wearing abuse ball cap saying “boss” will knock on your door and ask 8 euros for a towel, so fyi. There is a hotel called Monaco that is cheaper about 3 min away in case you want to make that decision instead
